Qualifications: Certificate III in Business Administration

Colleen grew up in Middlemount and later moved to Rockhampton to explore new career opportunities. She spent several years working at Ergon Energy, where she delivered exceptional customer service and assisted customers with their enquiries. In her spare time, Colleen also volunteered at a wildlife rescue group and cared for birds that had been injured, abandoned, or affected by bushfires. Keen to pursue a career in photography, Colleen left to start her own business, where she successfully combined her good people skills and love of animals to create beautiful memories for her clients.

Keen to work more closely with animals, Colleen joined High Street Vet Surgery in June 2020. Her genuine warmth and welcoming smile, combined with her ability to listen and build rapport with clients, has made her a popular addition to the team.

“I love being a Customer Care Representative because I love meeting new people, getting to know them, and watching their pets grow up. Being able to cuddle lots of animals is definitely a perk of the job!”

Interests/Hobbies: Colleen still enjoys her photography and provides a valuable service to our hospital by taking photos of patients, team members, and product images for our website.

Pets: Colleen is Mum to Charlie, a Cavalier King Charles spaniel; JJ, a 20-year-old cat; and Candy, a galah who was too humanised to be returned to the wild. (He is very sociable and affectionate, rubbing his face up against the cat when he comes out to play!)
